Tourism Communities Funding Results

The Government's Tourism Communities: Support, Recovery and Re-set Plan closed in August 2022.
The fund targeted five New Zealand communities that had a high dependence on international tourism and their local economies were impacted as a result of COVID-19.
Southland District (namely Fiordland), was one of those identified communities.
The fund included three parts, the advice and advice implementation grants and business kickstart fund.
In Southland, the fund was administered by Great South.
