Supporting local businesses and communities to create a competitive advantage and a healthy environment for now and future generations.
Our Carbon Neutral Advantage project - the first regional project of its kind - is committed to equipping the Southland economy for a low emission future.
This involves partnering with key stakeholders to develop initiatives that take meaningful steps to reduce Southland’s carbon emissions and supporting businesses and members of the community to benefit from the opportunities associated with a low emissions economy.
Responding to the challenge of climate change, the project aims to encourage resilience and guarantee a sustainable environment for generations to come.
The project is supported by the Tindall Foundation and Ministry for the Environment and builds on the extensive work carried out through the Wood Energy South project.
