Your feedback shapes our business services and how we advocate for Southland business at a local and national level.

As one of the two regional tourism organisations for Southland, we build Southland’s reputation within domestic and international markets and work closely with industry representatives to promote awareness of Southland as a travelling destination.

To make this happen, we develop marketing and trade channels, engage with the media, support tourism operators to grow and identify promotional opportunities for the Southland tourism industry to leverage from.

Embracing the shift from destination promotion to destination management, we also support the development of new tourism products, accommodation and destination events with the Southland Murihiku Destination Strategy providing a framework to maximise Southland’s potential in these areas.

Our Southlandnz website also helps visitors to find attractions, things to do and make a plan for their southern adventure!
