Skills Placement Programme

Connecting newcomers to Southland with employment opportunities

Through the Skills Placement Programme, we can connect skilled migrants, and their spouses, with employment opportunities in Southland.

We are able to help skilled migrants understand the Southland workplace and recruiting processes, share recruitment tips and support them in becoming work-ready. As part of this, we hold readiness for work seminars and assist with CV preparation and interview techniques.

Along with assisting newcomers to find employment, we also support Southland businesses to plan their recruitment of skilled migrants, manage the arrival of new employees into their workforce and address any cultural challenges that they may have in the workplace.

If you are new to Southland and looking for work, or you are a business looking to recruit new skillsets into your workforce, reach out to Elizabeth today:
